Rock legend Bob Seger was among the big-name holdouts at the dawn of music streaming. Even after the music of the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd began slowly appearing on the streamers, Bob Seger's music was still nowhere to be found. In interviews at the time, Seger said there was an ongoing issue between his long-time manager, Punch Andrews, and the label. Both sides eventually reached an agreement, and most of Seger's back catalog began streaming in June 2017. To celebrate the forty-fifth anniversary of Seger's seminal Live Bullet album in 2021, themed five-song playlists started to appear on streaming services.
