NOW 47 [US] + NOW 85 [UK] + NOW DISCO [UK]

The folks over at nowthatsmusic and Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) dropped the late Summer/back to school edition of Now That's What I Call Music! on the U.S. market on August 6, 2013.  Featuring a lone #1 hit in Bruno Mars' one-for-the-ladies "When I Was Your Man", the album currently sits at #7 on Amazon and will appear on Billboard's Top 200 later this week.  The previous volume in the series, NOW 46, has been on the charts a little over three months and peaked at #3, though it currently sits at #31.

For HERC's money, NOW 85, released a week earlier than NOW 47 over yonder, is the better Summer recap as it includes two of HERC's Top 5 Summer Jams of 2013 - the two featuring Neptunian Pharrell Williams.  There's a slight import price premium (77 cents a song vs 50 cents a song on NOW 47) to own shiny silver discs but through the magic of Spotify, you can save a chunk.  There are only six songs that overlap on NOW 85 from NOW 47.
