The Go-Go's could quite possibly be the quintessential female Summer group. (HERC knows it ain't Bananarama.) But which song in their repertoire is the most deserving Song Of Summer? As HERC was reviewing the candidates in his iTunes library, Glenn Cattanach's medley "This Is The Go-Go's" came up and HERC knew he had his winner. Featuring "Our Lips Are Sealed", "We Got The Beat", "Head Over Heels" and "Vacation" packed into seven minutes, Glenn doesn't do much fancy mixing stuff on this, the closing track of the 1994 DJ promo The Edge Level 1 - if anything, it leaves you wanting more.
