Continuing our newly established 2025 tradition of sharing our most played, most listened-to songs each month, here's The Hideaway 20 for April 2025. We listened to a lot of music in April (more than 3,000 different songs!) averaging about 110 songs a day. Everything just sort of worked out, from near-perfect weather (our first and to date only 100-degree temp thus far this year was on April 11, occurring earlier in the year than ever before in recorded history), a wide-open social calendar, and a hankering to listen to lots of old favorites as well as some relatively new favorites. As it turned out, there were 15 songs tied for number 6, so we ended up with a convenient list of these 20 songs.

For our flashback chart this month, we're jumping back five years to April 2020. This was right before we started seriously auditioning new speakers for The HERChives, spending 30 days putting each pair through their paces before returning them to Crutchfield for the next pair. We tested six pairs altogether and ended up purchasing two: a pair of SONOS Fives and a pair of the similarly named The Fives from Klipsch. Lots of working from home, lots of Zoom meetings, lots of music listened to.
