While Spotify does a great job remembering the music HERC listens to while using the service, they had no idea what videos he was watching on YouTube, or which tracks he was listening to via iTunes or MediaMonkey, or what high-resolution tracks he was enjoying with Foobar2000. His Spotify account, however, is linked to his last.fm account and last.fm does keep tabs on what music he listens to on all the mentioned programs and apps so it provides a more accurate picture of what music he listened to this year. Before we get to his Top 81 Most Listened To Songs according to last.fm, let's geek out on some numbers. For comparison's sake, only the tracks scrobbled from January 1 through November 1 are included.
For the 305 days represented by the chart, HERC listened to an average of 53 and a half songs per day but a closer look reveals the huge impact of discovering and listening to Bobby's B100.fm from mid-July through to November as the number of scrobbles took a tumble, falling from a daily average of almost 69 songs a day from January through June to less than half that amount - 33 songs a day - from July through the first day of November. The charts below show HERC's 100 Most Listened To Artists:
There are two singles, four Time-Life compilation albums, six greatest hits compilations, two 40th Anniversary releases and two box sets among the thirty-six albums pictured.

As far as HERC's Most Listened To Singles, we limited the list to songs with nine or more plays/scrobbles. (To include the songs with eight scrobbles, the list would have swollen to 132.) In all, 2840 songs were scrobbled more than once and the 89 songs below were the most played.
