For the final Top Albums Of Summer countdown , HERC only had to wade through twenty-two albums that made the Top 10 on Billboard's Album chart between May 28th and September 4th. Three of those albums made a showing on each of the 15 charts but only three albums managed to top the charts and they are ranked 3-2-1 below. Honorable mention goes to the album below at #9 - in addition to providing two of Summer 1983's Top 45s, the album spent the first eleven consecutive weeks of the Summer at either #9 or #10 in the Top 10 only to finish up at #9 for the whole Summer. Of course with that many nines, it could only be Prince's 1999, which HERC reckons was his most played album that Summer. What was yours?
