As a Summer, the Summer of 2002 doesn't really stand out much for HERC. He coached a YMCA youth basketball team for the first of several times. He just looked up the top albums of that Summer and recognized a dozen or so discs his children purchased but nothing that stood out for ol' HERCY. But that got his mind working and he remembered his jam of Summer 2002: 311's "Amber". It's been a Summer Mix fixture for the last dozen years and goes well with sunlight or moonlight. For the life of him, he doesn't recall hearing "Amber" yet this Summer... until today.
