Did anyone have any inkling when they picked up the first volume of Now That's What I Call Music! (above) Back in 1983, the series would become the best-selling, longest-running series in the history of recorded music, and still be going with no end in sight thirty-five years later? On July 20th, Now That's What I Call Music:100 will be released in the United Kingdom. As part of this momentous occasion, the very first Now That's What I Call Music is being reissued on vinyl, cassette, and compact disc, and will be released that same day.
As stated in the title above, this is my final Now That's What I Call Music! post. While I didn't cover them all, I covered enough to know I've covered enough.
