Before his death in January 2021, INXS's manager Chris Murphy had fostered and encouraged a short film project featuring the group's music. Inspired by Dante's Inferno and directed by Amy Tinkham, the finished project was released in July 2021, featuring thirteen INXS tracks, mostly performed by others. To promote the project worldwide, Universal Music teamed with Murphy's Petrol to issue digital EPs featuring the music of INXS.
