MRS. HERC's NEW CAR!!! aka HERC's NEW CAR STEREO!!!

This is the car MRS. HERC parks at The Hideaway these days. It was assembled at a state-of-the-art facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has the same wheels and paint job as the vehicle pictured above. But the MRS. HERC-mobile - affectionately dubbed "The Blueberry" in a nod to Gus's ride on psych - has dark tinted windows and is the fourth vehicle she's owned that bears her personalized plate. The Blueberry is dark and sweet and sexy and powerful - just like MRS. HERC!

The Blueberry is the same color as the car featured in the commercial below:
But the best part of The Blueberry other than the deep rich color (officially called Night Blue Metallic) AND sleek aggressive style AND smooth comfortable ride AND incredibly fun driveability is the FENDER Premium Audio system which fills the car with music.
Packing 4 different pairs of matched speakers and an enclosed sub all tuned by a car stereo competition champion, 400 watts of power as well as a touchscreen (below) and more than a half-dozen music listening options:
1) Bluetooth pairing of up to four devices allows HERC to enjoy Songza, Spotify or 8tracks as well as lossless files from his iPhone

2) terrestrial AM/FM radio with enough presets to satisfy MRS. HERC's intense intolerance for commercials

3) AUX input just below touchscreen for lucky passengers to jack in their devices and share their tunes

4) SD Card reader to the left of the touchscreen which will probably never get used but is still cool to have

5) proprietary MDI/iPod cable hidden in center console where the Touch camps out and stays charged

5.5) apparently there's a MDI/USB cable available as well to hook up hard drives or flash drives

6)  single disc CD player that plays mp3 discs as well

7) Sirius XM Radio - the three gratis months have expired and HERC did satellite radio more than six years ago, before the merger and it was kinda cool until he got an iPod - that was a game-changer.
The Blueberry's first Spring Break road trip is next week - 400 miles each way. HERC is using the occasion to bust out his second Road Trip playlist of 2013 filled with songs to test, torture, tease and tune the cockpit audio. Roger, over. Copy that.
