For the second installment of the K-tel themed Spotify playlists, HERC reaches all the way back to Christmas Day 1976 when he ran down the stairs to find the above sweet slab of songs under the tree along with this behemoth:

Throw in a bunch of Hot Wheels race track sets and cars and call it HERC's Perfect Christmas. For a once-in-a lifetime bicentennial Christmas that is. But back to the music at hand.
Packing a whopping ten songs per side - "All Top 10 Hits" - Hit Machine provided many, many hours of listening and pretty much laid the foundation of HERC's musical tastes for the rest of his life: some disco, some pop, some TV themes, some rock, some country - basically some of everything!

Amazing how the toys of yesterday have changed. I have the navarone set and it has the different colored armymen. I seem to recall they Were WWII Era soldiers.
