12 Days of Casey - Day 5

In somewhat of a countdown fashion, HERC will be featuring a different Casey Kasem Christmas show or countdown each day from now until December 25th, in reverse chronological order, starting with the most recent and ending with the very first American Top 40 Christmas countdown from 1971.

Near the end of his long and illustrious broadcasting career, Casey Kasem recorded several Christmas music themed shows for his latter day countdowns American Top 20 and American Top 10.  Day 5 of the 12 Days Of Casey is an episode of American Top 20, and features Casey's third countdown of Christmas songs, this time a Top 30.  HERC was in a Band Aid mood when he wrote this post so you will find the four Band Aid videos below - see if you can spot The Bono in each.  The charts below feature the songs, their artists and their original release date as well as their ranking on the December 20, 2014 Billboard Holiday Airplay chart.
