More than half, maybe a good (bad? sad? glad?) two-thirds of HERC's fellow music fanatics prefer their music in the gooey, bite-sized morsel known as "the single" which he glossed over copy & pasted covered in depth HERE.  This time around HERC requires asks begs a longer attention span as he reluctantly belatedly proudly unveils reposts snakes presents

The Year In Albums

(47 of) Billboard's Top 50 Albums of 2012

NOTE: Since it based solely on sales, it is not inconceivable understandable that the top 3 selling albums on - and actually more than half of - Billboard's Year End Top 200 chart were released before 2012, giving them an unfair advantage running head start on the releases from 2012.  (Many other year end lists stipulate that only albums released during the calendar year be included.)  Still, if you want to know what Wal-Mart shoppers everybody else was buying last year, look no further than Billboard's annual hindsight hierarchy of hits.  (There are no official releases of Now volumes 40, 41 or 42 on Spotify and those are the three no-shows in the playlist.)
