Wow! That's What I Call Music! Numero 18 - DISCO!

It's Monday.

Labor Day here in the States.

To celebrate the traditional end of Summer,

EVERYBODY DANCE!

Dancin' The Night Away is regarded by at least 2 disc jockey friends of the Hideaway to be the premiere disco compact disc compilation, featuring 40 shining examples of popular disco tunes and better than average sound quality.

Still not dancin'?
Try to resist the beat of The Ultimate Party Album!

Yeah, HERC bought this one, too, and while it's not all disco music, there are more than enough tracks from the 70s and even the 80s to get your toes tappin'.  ("I'm Doin' Fine Now" by New York City is absent on Spotify in its original version.  Also, John Paul Young's original single version of "Love Is In The Air".  HERC made the executive compilation director decision to include the Ballroom Mix of the latter simply because it's that good.)

How about another album offered via late night television commercials?
"I love disco and I hear it's makin' a comeback!"

The wonderfully named '70s Preservation Society unleashed their Disco Fever collection on the world way back in 1991 and things haven't been the same since. (Spotify came through with 100% of the original album's tracks - HERC used a few extended versions because it's his playlist.)
